Alcohol and substance misuse (aka “drinking too much” and/or using drugs) is a very common problem. The problem comes in many different shapes and sizes, and it affects many people at some point in their lives. Fortunately, most people are able to fix this problem, once they understand it and if they are able to get the right kind of help.  

The Frederick County judge and its Drug Treatment Court have provided you access to this completely confidential, proven online program—CheckUp & Choices—that will allow you to scientifically assess your relationship with alcohol and drugs, and then help and support you in making changes. 

While no one from Frederick County or Drug Treatment Court will have access to your specific answers to this program, you are required to complete CheckUp & Choices as a condition of your phase, and Therapeutic Courts staff will receive regular progress reports from CheckUp & Choices.
